I think to get legal fitment of 33x12.5x15's you are supposed to go to 10" rims, but they will go on 8" s okay (This is for Vic)
I reckon they would handle like crap on 7's IMHO

most tyre shops won't mount 33X12.5's on 7" rims. Minimum of 8" rim needed.

10" wide rims are not legal on a lot of vehicles.

Agree... you need 8" rims.

You can go 33x10.5x15 if you wsant to keep your existing rims

i was told by a tyre place they wouldnt mount a 12.5" tyre on an 8" rim because his book said it needed a minimum of 8.5" rim. Tho Ive seen a heap of 12.5" tyres on 8" rims ive also seen a landcruiser the same as mine with 12.5" tyres on the factory 15x7 chromies. I spose it all depends what tyre mob your buying the tyres from and if he'll fit them to your 7" rims, i wouldnt advise it fitting them to a 7" rim, as i gather its illegal, but then again nothins illegal unless you get caught. :D

I had my 37" creepys on 8" rims and know about 6 others who have the same.

33x12.5 on 8" rims is fine.
