Where do i go to get a diff checked out?

Post by mr_skater99 »

Sup,

My little bro did something to his front diff last weekend up at cruiser and just wondering if anyone could recommend a place (preferably in north brissy) to get it checked out. Any advice or recommendations would be awesome.

Cheers

When he puts it in 4wd it clicks when he drives. every 3 - 4 sec. won't do it in 2wd tho. Any thoughts?

Put it in 4wd, turn full lock either way, then drive forwards. If it clicks its the outer side. If it dont, turn the wheel the other way, and drive forwards.

Outer side = Outside of the turning circle......

If its clicking when going straight ahead sounds like it may be ring and pinion damage.
