22re for a Bundy

Post by MAMUTT »

Im looking at replacing my 22r for a 22re. Was thinking of getting a front cut of some sort as this is my first time doing a engine swop and i thought it would be the easiest way (other than paying a mechanic) Can i use any car with a 22re motor in it, or am i restricted to certain models. I heard coronas and celicas are the go for a bundy, is there anything else i can use?

Also ive read on the forum that there is a problem clearing the Inlet Plenum chamber and the brake booster, unless a 2" body lift is intoduced. Is this with all 22re motors? is there another way to solve this without the 2"BL?

Is there any other problems i should do some research on, or is it a straight bolt on as i keep reading?
