Bundera Carby problems

Post by MAMUTT »

I bought my bundy with a webber off a cortina on it and ive just put an original carby from another bundy on it, as the webber had no fuel running through on hills. My mechanic cant seem to get it running propally, it backfires, idles rough and has no acceleration.

Does anyone, know where i can take it to get checked out. i would prefer to take it to someone thats worked on bundys or better yet owns one!!!
im based in inner sydney, but can travel, (if the car gets me there!!!)

Can the car see the Weber from were it is parked?
if so remove it compleatly!
bad habit from a Weber can take a lot of time to reverse. :)
Peter.
ps, the EFI is a great idea, but my stock carb runs a treat and goes like the clappers.
Cable bracing is the way of the future!

my standard carb worked well
but i didnt drive it for long. found it to be too gutless with the 33's so i sold it :P

if you bought a whole car your would have just about everything you need
you will need to set up your fuel pumps tho
perhapse a surge tank vl pump n a standard low pressuer pump
or standard set up

Try disconnecting the air pump, by taking off the belt, another problem maybe the floats try checking to see if they are set correctly
