Hilux Gearbox options

Post by MadLux »

Hey Guys

I Have an 83 single cab Hilux running a 4.2L Boared and Stroked Holden V8 with a huge, extra strength rear drive shaft. It was running a 5 speed Dyna 4x4 box but recently the very tip of the main input shaft snaped off after 8 years of service.

Does anyone have any idea on what I can replace it with or any idea on where i can get a replacement main input shaft for it

Thanks guy

Will post images soon

well its bored and stroked to about 300 and is sounds suprisingly throaty and with the low ratios on the truck box it means it can pretty much climb anything with out using low range
