electric fuel pump
ok... my holden V8 mechanical fuel pump has crapped out....
im just going to leave i there and bypass the hoses straight to my carbi...
ive connected the electric fuel pumps back up and the pain hose goes into th carbi...
the second hose coming up from the tank i believe is a breather.... i blocked this off when i has the mechanical pump only operating.... but with the electric pump i have been told i need to connect it back up....
this used to be a L28 6 cylender... now holden V8... just curious as to whether i can just leave that hose open to atmosphere or it has to be connected to a breather on the inlet manifold or the carbi???
screwy

My Nissan had a L28 with a return line, when I fitted my 308 into it I made a return line before the carbi, I just soldered into a T piece a small jet to regulate the back flow. My Nissan had two factory pumps and I never had any problems with the 308.
