Ex Telstra GQ's? Good? Bad?

Post by BadLux »

Ok the time has come to convert to the good old Patrol, been down the hilux path and have learnt my lesson ;)

Now I know ALOT of threads have been started about what to look for when buying a patrol, how much should I pay etc etc etc.

And yes I have been through hundreds of threads thanks to the good old search function. With this link popping up nearly every time!

There was this add in the quokka but when I rang him he said it was an ex telstra which turned me off a bit whats every1's opinions on the ex telstra patrols?

sounds ok to me. Its not an ex- mines truck, so should be ok. But does it have any service history?

nah the body's what you need to really worry about! why's it been repainted? has it been (excuse the pun bruce) bogged to death and painted over? mechanicals are a bolt-in bolt-out replacement. you can't unbolt rust!
