I havnt had to swap out a CV in my IFS lux yet (the crownwheel is a different story).
I spotted this on offroad.com to make it easier.

But is it really necisary?
How hard are they to swap out if one breaks in a comp?
I remember when I swapped out the diff there wasnt a lot of room to get the CVs out untill the diff was half out.
I havnt worried in the past but I have an Airlocked front diff now which will hopefully keep the CW in one piece. CVs are the next weak point.
I will fix these issues once and for all when I do my SAS with Longs but for now the IFS stays.
Paul.

The cvs are a piece of piss to do no need to worry about the diff.
Take the free wheel hub off and the clip undo the 6 bolts that bolt them to the diff undo the lower ball joint and then drop it down from the diff and pull out then pull appart as nes.
If you do it at a comp we can help ya fix it .
Dave
Ps if you arnt that lifted they come out without undoin the ball joint

cv's
simple but messy job, use trolley jack to lift up front control arm until it is parrallel, slide in a chock to the upper stop, them do as normal, this sets the angle so you don't have to drop ball joints or hassle with much, basically drive plate/freewheeler of then bolts on CV shaft, swing the lot out as one big assembly.
