Condo 750

Post by discokid »

Hi guys

Does anybody have further information about this event. It seems that its a mix of off road racing and CCDA styled event as their promo material mentions OBC vehicles

There is nothing on the CCDA website about it

Any info would be appreciated as I might make the long trek from WA

An awesome navigational/endurance event...750 Ks of off road dust at high speed!

Held every year over Easter just out of the NSW town of Condoblin.

Categories include motorbikes, numerous classes of buggies, sedans and 4wdrives.

It is not a CCDA event but is CAMS sanctioned and is part of the Off Road Racing scene.

The last similar event we filmed was the Griffith 500 where the top buggies were pulling up to 225kph across the dirt. There were also numerous yank imports worth around $250K...an awesome spectacle.

Ive got a class 8 racer so it will be interesting to see how it goes against challenge class vehicles.

I discussed it with the organiser this morning and they are opening it up to CCDA etc as two wheel drive buggies etc arent suitable

So it must be a more challenging than the average off road racing track

Its a 90% chance we will be going

Does anyone have a list of Rules & Regs. for the Condo750?

I wish to enter in the following years, but the pdf site is proving the least bit helpful

TIA

Dude

You will need to build your car to standard CAMs regs per the book for off road racing

Anything else they specifically need for the event is normally minor stuff like spark arrestors etc

See here for types of cars that enter
