building my new rig, just getting bits and pieces....
350 chev and stock turbo700 at this stage.... just want to run a decent oil cooler for the auto... ill get a stage 2 shift kit and rebuild done on the auto eventually but not just at the moment.....
what size oil cooler should i run that will be benificial? how many rows? dimensions??
whats too small to use?

I have deleted the GQ auto trans coolers from the radiator and use 2 front mounted coolers instead. The 1st one is one of the "generic" black thin ones used by most auto trans places, the other one is a PWR one 280mm X 255mm X 19mm thick (PWRO/CH/DUTY) . I run them in series and my running temps don't go over 70 C in summer.
I highly recommend the PWR coolers.

Im running a air con condensor out of the donor VN Commodore that i used for the motor and gearbox transplant works fine just ran the original 2 lines from the auto to it. A mate told me this one he had used it on a turbo diesal surf mine now never runs above 50 degrees even in first low clibing hills all day and this mod is real cheap.Just flush out the condensor first then all is good
