Will I break...
Will I break...
...if I run 34x10.5 Simex JT2s on stock wide track axles?
Points to note:
- I am a Victorian (and proudly so). But we don't have many rocks here.
- I have a standard 1300cc.
- I will have Rockhopper 3 but standard R&P.
- Open front, locked rear.

You should be ok. Myself and greg are running 34 swampers with front and rear locked with Series 3 Rockhoppers and haven't broken anything on our Stock suzuki diffs/axles yet. I have been running 34s for about 3 years now with at various stages locked rear no rockhopper, locked rear series 1 rockhopper and the current setup. it comes down to driving style, just don't keep the boot in and you should be ok.
if you were to be driving on high grip rocks only you may find trouble but Vic conditions you should be ok

Having run 33 swampers rear locker workd 1.6 and 4.16 T/case have eaten lots of bearings, brakes etc but haven't busted an axle yet .. and I am not easy on the throttle ... if its stuck keep the boot in .. maybe it will drive out

what sort of gearing do u have?
how many trips have u had the 36's on for?
btw N*A*M what made u pick the jt2's?

The LWB LJ has a 1L Sierra x-fer case behind a Vitara case - both with stock gears (my sierra has more gears that Mock does )

having seen the last one bust , it was a full charge in low low floor it .. I doubt a hilux CV would have held up either (as I have seen these bust as well in very similar situations) crossed up in a rut full stuff on passanger side front wheel at an angle (big bit of large swamper against the scrub bar) and hammer the throttle .. bang .. get towed out by a Kia (far worse than a busted CV )

The other CV happened on Adventure Tour while trying to reverse up The Steps in Toolangi with a front swamper rolled off the inner bead...
Both were fairly "extreem" situations though really.

Nam the rear axles can handle the setup with a human behind the throttle,
so you'll be right . The c/vs on the other hand can be a bit of a disapointment but ,Ha you need the experience changing them hehe
Ive run 35s silvs on and of for four years, This zook two c/vs
two rear centres , one set of splines off my front spool.
Series 1 , 5.1 centres,open rear ,spooled front.
