Hey,
Looking at putting the V8 Cruiser on LPG. I've heard that Toyota don't recommend the V8 being converted to LPG. Anybody got some practicle experiencs?

yes there was a few dramas with the new V8s on lpg, the problem was the first lpg kits that came out didnt tap into the rev limiter and therefore the motor could be rev'd out part safe levels as well as a few other small probs, but also these toyotas had very weak conrods and a decent backfire is enough to slightly bend them therefore throwing out the balance in the motor.
BUT THERE IS A NEW KIT, its the new lpg injection kit by APPOLLO GAS and this fixed the probs with the rev limiter and NO MORE BACKFIRING.
