tappits on 2LT surf motor

can anyone tell me if the 2LT surf motor
has hydrolic or adjustable tappits

any info would be good on this motor

they are a shim adjustable valve clearance.

Probably uses shims like the 3L but i am not completely sure.

Probably shims unless it is an older model with roller rockers.

i thought it was only the older 2L that had rollers not the 2LT ??

As far as I know there are two versions of the 2L-T the latter usually refered to as a 2L-T11 (2). There is two rocker covers, an alloy and a pressed steel. The alloy cover should have rollers and the pressed steel buckets and shims.

Here is a thread on the Surf forum that seems to support this.

You are correct nev, my mistake. Alloy rocker cover has adjustable rockers, steel has shims, sorry for the mix up.
