mm lockers wish. Just been around Aus in the 90 with a camper trailer. We were in Brisbane a couple of weeks back before we went to the Cape.
Here is where we have been around Aus (36,000k's worth)

Thought you may like to know that the Qld Winch Challenge is on that weekend and I have organised about 10 car loads of mates and I know of at least another 20 cars heading up. The place will be packed.

After talking to Alben from Cruiser Park this morning, the winch challenge competitors will be camping where I had originally planned so I have moved it to a new ground (See Map)

Maggot came to my workshop today & told me I had to come next weekend so I asked the missus, she gave the all clear & all going well with the jobs I have got running ATM it looks like I might be able to come.
Ash will be dropping in later next week so I will probably travel down with him.

Well, considering the RR is STILL on the hoist, I am about 3000km from you, AND I have spent all my$$ on rims, flares, tyres etc, I'll be there in spirit.

Have a good time you lot, and Ash, you'll have to organise another one and Reddo and I and some other southerners will have to attend...

I have to give a huge thanks & to Brook (Brooksy) from Custom 4x4 Fabrication for getting me out of a jam and making sure my truck was right for the weekend.

Without his help I would not be making it.

If you need any custom bar work etc for your rover, give him a try.

Had a great weekend, apart from blowing a fuse somewhere which resulted in no TC, ABS, & Hill Decent (which I never use ) which caught me out on 1 occasion.
We did more driving than watching the QLD Winch Challenge event. Even though their was only 4 vehicles on Saturday we all had a great time (def 90 had serious dust problems running around with no top  ) It was great to meet some new faces & to learn from Alister ( not sure on his post name ) about L/Rovers as he had a great wealth of wisdom & experience with L/Rovers in the UK.
We had a few other L/Rover owners show up at our camp at various times which was good.

Overall great weekend & looking forward to catching up again soon !!! :D

Ok here you go with the pics and Vids at the bottom
It was a fantastic weekend and had great fun. Learn't alot over the wekend . Amazing how off roading differs from the UK. (well in Queensland anyway :P ) Took the 90 for a bit of a play but it is a bit too standard for up there. But had fun in it, and did not get stuck Yipee

WOT, No pics of the Maggot with wheels in the air????? Obviously he wasn't trying hard enough!!

Vids won't work for my system ATM.

Looks good up there, I'll have to turn up next time, when Ash makes it an annual OL event....
