im going to be making some sliders up for my 82 lux soon and was just wondering wat the best way to mount them was. i was thinking of a sandwich plate like design but i cant get anything in between the chassis rail and the cab at the top. would i be best to drill through the chassis and put a crush tube through will this change the strenth of the chasis much. should i make them out of tube or box how thick do you think it should be i tend to over engineer things.
if any one could post up any picks of how they mounted there sliders i would realy appreciate it.
thanx
mick
