high range gear sets anyone??

Post by justinC »

Any one want to part with either a 1.113:1 and/or 1.174:1 high range set for a LT95?

They were 1979 to 1981, and 1974 to 1978 respectively RR 2 doors with the LT95.

Pretty sure thats whats in my LT95.
I'm looking for a set of 0.998 gears - I'd be willing to swap mine, otherwise any ideas where I'd find a set of these?

1103.9,

YES it pulls like a train, even in the driveway at work with no exhaust hooked up yet!! Very happy.

Swamp,

I haven't got a sample unfortunately but I'll try and get some info, thanks.

Mark2,

I don't actually want to swap mine, I want a second set (lower) for touring/towing, so I can sit on 100 in 4th. ATM with the 35's I think it'll work too hard dragging 1.5 tons, and I want to use 4th mostly. So I'll change high range gearing for trips to the mainland etc.
I might have another .996 gearset here for sale though, If you're interested i'll dig it out.
