gas/dual fuel????

Wife is thingking about should we convert our rx 2.8 td to run on gas and deisel.dual fuel. dont want to go convert totaly to gas, worried about having less power.. any thoughts or comments?

Can't go straight gas on a diesel. The gas is burnt at the same time as the diesel resulting in a cleaner, more efficient burn. It isn't like a petrol/gas dual fuel system where you select which individual fuel you are going to run on.

You actually burn the Gas and diesel at the same time. EG 90% of the fuel being burned is diesel and the other 10% is the LPG (These percentages are only to clarify the explanation, I don't actually know the exact ratios used)
