45 series clutch

Post by Hoppy11 »

Posting this for a friend, he blew the clutch in his 45 ute, with 4 speed, he has been quoted $500 plus for the clutch by itself, he thought that sounded a bit high, does anyone know if a one can be found cheaper.
any help would be great

depends on what brand the clutch is, you can get cheap ones and expensive ones, $500 plus i would expect to be a quite good one

but if he doesnt drive it hard or off road much then a cheaper one would be ok, probly about $250ish for a cheapy

diesel or petrol?

if it's a hj45 that is the real price for your cheapest clutch, the pressure plates on them are a 3 finger design, not the diaphram type, and they are spendy because not many other cruisers use them. if it's a petrol, i paid 160 for my clutch kit.
