GQ petrol extractors on a diesel 4.2

Post by Duff »

the oppertunity has presented itself to swap my standard diesel exhaust for a petrol one that has pacemaker extractors and a 2.5" exhaust. is the swap worth it for the time it takes to unbolt it and swap them over or is it a waste of time

when I did mine, it was a disappointment, I expected something more than noise, others say they gain mega KW with them, but I didnt notice it..

If you go in not expecting much, it will be ok.

Extractors make a big improvement on the 4.2's.

probably not very much difference for the amount of money into a custom turbo manifold.

More improvement in just uppping the boost on the 2.8
