Trailer tyre pressure on beach.

Thinking about towing a trailer up to fraser for my next trip in a couple of months.
What pressure do people run in the trailer tyres and dooes it help to air down low. The trailer is running standard commodore wheels/tyres.

I run 35's at about 16 - 18psi on the cruiser.

i'm also thinking about towing a trailer up to fraser island and from what i hear and can figure it would be better to leave the tyre pressures up nice and high to reduce the footprint and amont of effort required to pull it along in the sand. only need tyre pressures low on car for bigger footprint therefore better traction .

I tow a 14' coramol van that weights 2 ton up to fraser it has the same track as my GU wagon all off which have 33" BFG all terrains, I found letting all tyres down the same around 18 psi stops the van from bighting in.You can leave them all up if u do it at low tide but ass soon as you hit the soft thats it.

airing it down will help it float over the sand better but i would probably not bother unless you have a fair bit of weight in it.

Trailer tyres down to low 20's won't hurt on FI, but more important is the trailer track. It's best to have it the same as the towing vehicle, so most of the time it follows the towing vehicles footprint.. eezy peezy

Towed my trailer to Fraser, it was easier than pushing it Seriously, think about the age of the tyres, I have 10 year old 14" 8 ply light truck tyres and what happened was that the sidewalls got very hot from all the flexing while deflated. 3 weeks later one blew out near home and the other had 2 big bulges on the side. They were fine when we left home as I checked for cuts and repacked the bearings. When fully inflated we got bogged a few times but travelled well when the air was let out.

The trouble you might have with commodore rims and tyres is the wheel ruts being too deep and dragging your axle in the centre hump
