Diesel Engine Codes

Post by gotoy »

Where can I find a site that shows diesel engine codes?

Just want to check my engine number and know what I have.

TQ.

Look at the little plate on your firewall if you can't get it from that ring a dealer and ask them.
OR
Tell us what it is your drive type/year/model? Has the engine been replaced?
Kind Regards,

Your engine number should also tell you. It generally has the engine model printed before the number.

Engine is a 2LT. I replaced my original 2L engine with a 2LT, just want to make sure I have a genuine 2LT and not a 2L with a turbo added.

Yes, I know the engine number is on the side of the engine.

There used to be a site somewhere that displayed all the Toyota engine codes.
