i have a generator and some mechanics tools.

I would happily bring all along to events for competitors use for a small payment of beer.

Its a great sport and as i cant afford to build a buggy this is one way for me to get involved.

cheers

Yeah i would say for the haultech boys to bring that sort of stuff would be a little hard as there is a shit load of other things they need to transport like witchs hats and tents and a heap of other stuff . Maybe before each event we can have a thread for what tools each competiter is taking with them. And have like a round robin type thing where we take it in turn to bring say welder and the likes. At least then the competiters are sticking together. Which builds comradery between us all.?

Each event requires some gear to be sourced from hire outlets. Maybe an additional fee could be added to the competitor entry to cover the hiring of a welder/generator and maybe compressor from the same companies that are already supplying gear. Although the responsibility falls back onto the organisers, at least they aren't having to haul the gear themselves.

Just an idea

Cheers for that Patrolden ;)

Question for you Damo! How did you get a 36 on A4 when you did not finish as you roled at the same point that i did. I got a 37 And there were only 3 gates on the coarse? But neither of us finshed the coarse?????mmm

You musta taken the Chq book with ya! :?
There were 4 gates on that course you did'nt get through the last one as you rolled just before it and I rolled just after it and got my wheels through about a car length further.

I'm happy to let people use my gear they will just have to pay for it up front $20 per use of the welder

what drugs are you on Damo..you rolled the same place as Not Not and there were only three progression points on that track if you didnt take the bottom bonus line drop off...one on top of the boat ramp, one at the bottom of the boat ramp and one leading up to the rock then you both took the girls line and turned right :finger:

i will have to ask Jason or Big Scotty if they took any bribes on that course that day...

back to the tools thing...

WE Rock round 1 last year at Rover, didn't OnTrack provide workshop facilites and labour to the competitors, this was by far the best idea yet.

Where has that sort of support taken off to?

THat really is tops that there will be so many teams goin over. Shows that there are sponsers and competitors here that are committing to making this sport big over here. the bigger impression we make OS the more of them i reckon will be down here same time next year.
