simply put jts are great for mud work
but a mtr will preety much do anything you want them to do rock sand mud road etc
just a thing to remember though is that mtr's require rotations every 5000 if you dont they do have a habbit of gettin alot of road noise up

I'm wondering where you're getting 35" MTRs for $250. My cheapest quote round here for 33" MTR is $293 a tyre, up to $330 odd.
If your road use outways the mud use, go the MTR. These 2 are vastly different tyres and you would be better of comparing apples with apples once you decide what style of tyre you require based on what you drive on. Once you've done that, explore the options that suit the application.

that is a pretty random question bloke............
i dont think your comparing even close to apples with apples or bananas with apples or more
prunes and apples ... with the prunes in this case getting you into the slops and the jt'2's getting you ouutta the slops!!! and mtr being the sensible smart choice and nutritious and safe in 99% of Situations
and i just widened the rubber on mine to the 305 from 285 and looks a little better filling the arch ways as a random point......
go mtr's.....
or look outside the question and check out new ones bellow.... i think if they wear ok micky t will be on a winner... have been playing on them while working last few days and wont let go of the ground.

Please explain?
I have no idea why they're pricier at an outlet than at non-goodyear stores.
I ended up buying some 2nd hand 35in MTR's (with very few k's on them) for ~$230. You pays your money...
