i was wondering if it was worth while wrecking a 1994 disco for parts for my 1988 rangie................ diffs, axles, running gear, brakes, etc.......

Yes Yes Yes. You will get fine spline axles, a decent'box and some antiroll bars etc. I did a similar job a while back, and it transformed the Rangie. Try and fit the brakes and everything too,(unless it has ABS) as the whole vehicle will feel 'fresher' to drive..

A guy in our club did that. I think it was a 1994 Disco into a 1989 Rangie. He swapped the 3.9 motor, auto and transfer. Not sure about the rest though.

if the chassis is straight , just swap the body.
