howdy

i have oil squirting out of the oil filler cap.

there must be some preesure there cause theres oil over the fuse box(79 rangie)

i have absolutley no idea what could cause this so any suggestions on what to check out first would be appreciated.

have recentley moved the breather hose to above the butterfly in the carb,it used to be connected to the manifold vaccum under the butterfly.
might move it back and see how it goes.

probly worn motor but

it needs to be under vacume thats why it was plumbed up avter the butterfly not before
range rover & series one landy!

i thought the breather hose pluged into the bottom of the air filter housing!
but mine was connected to the bottom of the carby(holley 350)
where should it be connected?

does it have a pcv valve anywhere? i would run one of the rocker cover breathers to vacume with a pcv valve and the other plumed in to the air filter

yep it has a pcv valve on one side and the filler cap has the breather built in holes anyway

so ill hook it back up
