How do I find out if a VIN or chassis has been writen off or not???

Who do I contact with the VIN/Chassis no???

where are you? in vic just call the number on the back of your liscence and listen to some recorded messages to get you where u want.

A good first step. I doubt whether anyone on this board can trace VIN's.............

In Qld it is the same place that does the REVS check. Maybe it is the same in NSW?

nah call the rta

they have a written off vehicle register

I think the vehicle has to be less than 10 years (not sure need to check that) and it gets entered in a database

if its over that then there isn't a record

give em a call and they should be able to let you know
