Gti conversion - speedo....

Post by beaver700 »

Gday,

Just wondering for those who have done the gti conversion, what you done with the speedo cable. I have read that it the instrument cluster needs some 'modification', otherwise you will get poor fuel economy... I dont really understand the idea, so if anyone could help by explaining what and why it will happen, and how to get around the problem...

Also do I use the speedo cable that came with the gti engine, or the sierra one?

Thanks
