GQ front diff into MQ

Post by Brett S »

Is the center offset the same amount as MQ? Obviously mounts would have to be made to make it fit. Do they have any matching ratio's as MQ? Does a leaf sprung gq have same leaf to leaf distances?

Ok from disc backing plate to backing plate it's 145cm.

The centre of the front diff is 50 cm from the drivers side backing plate and 95 from the passenger side.

just measured mine and thought would post for others future reference.
MQ disc backing plate face to face = 135cm
46cm drivers side to center (not pinion axis) and 88cm to passenger side
ok it doesn't add up but within 5mm ish.

So looks like its pretty much in the same spot, just the diff is 5 cm wider on either side.
