Part time conversion ?

Post by SoldierBoy1 »

Can anyone tell me if there is a Part time setup for a D1?

I fitted one to my 80ser and found it to be the best thing I ever did, as I got rid of the backlash in the drive line and improved fuel economy (not to mention it was a whole lot more fun in the mud!). I found a post that said some one thinking about doing it but gave no more info than that.

Yes, they are made by AVM. They replace the center diff with a spool and add free wheeling hubs.

If you can not find them in Aussyland, try Ashcroft in Pommyland.
