extended shackles problem with height
i have installed extended shackles front and rear into my mq however in doing so you have to weld a shackle mount on to the rear end due to the original goin through the chassis rail..
doin this i believe has caused my mq to sit on a angle down wards at the front
i am just wondering wat ppl have done to correct the angle ie. did they weld some box steel on to the front end to space the front shacle mount down more or wat?? if so how did it hold up when out wheeling?? wat did ppl do to strengthen it?? and also wat size box steel was used??
if you could post some pics this would be a great help thanks...

these are the shackle mounts that have to be welded on i suppose they could be drilled and bolted on but i would prefer to weld them on

thanks ludacris i was thinking the same just unsure wat guys have done to strenthen it up if anythingludacris wrote:Well tecnically your chassis is made of box section so as long as you use 4 - 6 mm box and the welds are good it should hold up fine.
