space cab/king cab

hey all i have tryed several other topics on this forum so ill give this a go im trying to convert my shorty 85 mk nissan patrol into a king/space cab and was wondering if making a box to fit onto where my canopy used to bolt up to then cutting off the remainder of the shell and fitting a tray how to go about this if any 1 has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

mate wanted to do the same thing to his mq
engineer said aslong as it was sealed n had a rear window he would pass it

best bet in reality is prob to get the rear off a ute and weld it on

yeah told itd cost me round 2 grand so i thinkin bout gettin a lip all the way round and a rubber seal then makin a box to fit thats around 300mm long and attaches where the canopy used to and ill just continue the bolt patern and fab up a lip across the rear and use my canopys rear window as the rear window in my space cab
