Not hard at all, working from inside you need to lift the rubber seal and work it outwards, keeping gentle pressure on the glass. Start at one corner and work your way around.
Getting it back in is a bit trickier, you need to make a loop of small but strong cord around the channel in the rubber where the metal body would sit in the seal. Place cord inside window opening, sit window against body and gradually pull the cord around the seal causing the seal lip to sit inside the body. The older the rubber the harder the rubber gets and thus less pliable and less easy to work with.
Perhaps a quick visit to your local windscreen fitted or panel beater with a 6 pack may be handy.
