Longest standard shock length?

Post by dansTOYOwagon »

G'day all.
I have the chance to get a complimentary set of shocks from someone my brother knows. Just wondering what is the longest "standard" length amongst the 4wd makes? This company only caters for standard height suspension replacements. Its going onto my SOA 60 series, but that doesn't matter, cause I can get anything to fit, just need to know the longest! I am dead broke ATM so anything going for free will suit me!
Any hints appreciated. Thanks!

Best solution... Go down to your local supercheap store and read the suspension catalogue there :D

Try for the longest leaf sprung Hilux shocks front and rear.

If not get the 80 series rear, pin top eye bottom at about 615mm and GQ rear is eye top and bottom at about 650mm. These shocks are valved stiffer for a coil sprung vehicle so I don't know how they will suit your application.
