Which Turbo??

Post by bbear »

Gday, do you know which turbos can be put on a 99 IFS 3 litre (5l) hilux?

I often see various ones for sale off various models, but dont know which ones can be interchanged...

Thanks in advance.

Simple answer is yes, I was told when enquiring about 1 for my'n so if my motor went bang and decided to put in a 5L would it fit, answer absolutely. Regards Steve M

The one on your gq might be too big as the one turbo glide put on the 2.8/3.0 suits a motor up to 4Litre engine capacity.
