Tyres suited to my rims..

Post by CAD »

Guy's... Will a set of 32X11.50R15LT fit my steel 15x7 Trak rims? Would they be too large or just not fit? Any ideas... thanks!

I run 32/11.5/15's on my standard 15x7 rims.

Here's a couple of pics. I have a 2.5" suspension lift and have no rubbing at all, even at full flex. You will find if you go to 33/12.5 you will need different offset (than standard) rims as they tend to scrub on the front sway bar at full lock.

Hudson, do the 11.5 sidewalls swell out from the rim a fair bit?

I wanted 32x11.5 on the same alloys, but all the tyre shops I went to said no they wont do it... bastards!

I have just gone through all of this crap. Some say yes some say no but the thing is the tyres will fit but it is illeagle to fit 32/11.5s on a 7/15.
the thing I had to do is buy 16/7 sunnies and fit 265/75/16 wich makes it leagle & you get a bigger tyre out of it. :P
If at first you don't succeed, go faster.

I personally don't think there is any problem. They don't really bulge at all and i fitted them myself so there was no drama's there!
