whats it worth ???? roughly

Post by Turbo Tonka »

hey all, i own a hilux allready that im playing around with but my mate has his zook coming up for sale as hes getting a better n bigger one. I have just started my apprenticeship in welding, fitting n machining n hydraulics work so id like to get a cheap toy to practice any new skills on without hacking into my Lux.

so its a 93 model, grey with a few scratches and dents but thats cool.its got 170 lightforces, full checker door trims etc, checkerplate sills,it has flipped 15x8 sunnies with 30x9.5 Goodyear MTR's,Near new soft top n a spare bikini top,Lovells 2 inch springs with extended top leaves front and rear,(pretty good flex) and some extended shackles. He has said he cant go lower than 4 G's,due to the new one bein 10G's with swift motor, twin ARB locks,15x10s,33's,exo,race seats, winch, springover etc. What would ppl pay for something like it.The motor aint too flash.Id like to pick up an old 1 Litre like i used to have but cant find a truck around

4G sounds abit steep for just a thing to cut up and mod :?
I'd look for something aound the 1G mark

MQ diffs are too chunky too if you plan to only run 31's too

your gonna have to run35s on mq's to get the same punkin clearence it has now. zook diffs (1.3) are not bad. unless you boost up the rest of your drive line putting bigger diffs in will only cause you blow up other parts like your transfer/ gearbox.
