Head Gasket ford maverick 1990

Post by sld86 »

New to this forum and bout a diesel ford maverick yesterday. Took it for a drive this morning for about 20minutes came home and its just dumped about half a litre of coolant out the overflow. Ive had a look over the motor and cant see and oil leeking out of it and there is no water in the engine oil so im a bit confused on how it could happen. The only engine mod to the 4.2 is an aftermarket turbo any ideas on whats going on with it?

You could try posting in the Nissan section, as the Ford Maverick is a rebadged Nissan Patrol...

Try a new radiator cap before you spend money on anything else.
