A mate who works in Opposite Lock at Tamworth just said to me that he has sold heaps of them.
Roo's are 180mm, are rated at 700 metres.
LF 170's are rated at 800 metres.

They sell the Roo's for $275.00 a pair, so it seems that the price is either already going up, or maybe perhaps Tamworth charges $25 more than elsewhere. Who's ta say...

If they are complete knock-off's, my little H3 HID adapters should fit to give a cheapish adjustable-beamed HID light.

Offtopic:
Years ago I chucked on a bunch of 50w downlights for the crawler lights under my old girl. They work, but they dont last long at all on dirt roads.
I grabbed a big chunky bit of perspex and mounted it in front of the lights. It stopped the glass from smashing all the time, but was then a nice spot for mud to accumulate and have a party and block the light. I havent looked at them in years, know that they're all smashed and cant be bothered to fix them, or even move them to a better location.
But for about $1.00 each at Bunnings/Magna mart/Go Lo and other cheap crap places, I reckon they're kind of nearly the best value you'll ever get on a "light-output vs dollar" ratio.
