Just wondering if u could please help me out!
Im a first time jeep wrangler 03 owner, comein off a gq patrol wit 4' sus and 2' body lift.
I want a lift thats around $1,500. is ther anything out there for this? iv been looking at the 3.5' RE kit. wats your thorts on this? With your experience wich would be the best option.
is it worth doing maybe a 1' body lift? i will be running 33's and later on when i get more cash 35's.
Is it hard to do sus lift by yourself, u just have to jack the front up and then the rear right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

to do the suspension it is pretty easy ...this website www.4x4xplor.com has some really good write ups its "mods and write up" link
re 3.5 not sure how much or how they are... go to www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum ...very comprehensive bunch of jeepers and i think there might even be someone on there selling a re3.5 kit

You could start here http://www.suburban4wd.com/suspension/suspension.htm Suburban do the RE gear and also you could look at the 2.5" OME with either coil spacers or BL to fit 33's. At 3.5" coil lift you will be looking a new shocks. I would recommend getting front sway bar disconnects - Teraflex or RE are popular - though you can search for DIY by drilling the bottom swaybar bolt to fit a split pin or similar.
btw, 33's on stock 3.07 (manual) gearing is pretty tall. You lose 5th gear on anything but flats and downhill. However it is drivable - I did for 2 years before regearing.
Most of the major US suspension manufacturers are resold in Oz so you can look at RE, Teraflex, Skyjacker, procomp, so on and so.
Also at 2" + coil lift you will need to use the transfer case spaces as the rear driveshaft angle gets steep pretty quick on a TJ.
