Hey guys,

I'm looking at purchasing a Sierra in the next couple of months, as a runaround + light duty off-road rig, to take the load off my Prado (k's are racking up real fast).
I've narrowed the choice down to a late model SWB soft top, only spec I can't decide on is should I go for leaves or coils, if anyone here has driven both and can comment on the difference, i'd appreciate it.

Once i've finished modifying the Prado (like you ever really finish), i'd probably want to mod the Zook, i've done some research, and know what's available for the drivetrain and the leaf suspension, but can't find any info on what's available for coils, would probably run 31's, (not a fan of bodylifts, would like to avoid virtual lift), so need to know if it can be done, if so how difficult?

While i'm waffling on here, is there anything I need to look for in particular when buying? (besides rust)

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer, Cheers.

Do a search on the bible.
Coily motors have a reputation for letting go early,
you'll find your suzi will go further than your Prado and you'll enjoy it more!
I should know i've also got a GU Patrol!
you know you want one

hi mate
my bro has a coily and i have a leafy
coily is much nicer to driver on the blacktop.. smoother.
leafy is great for mods as they are easier to life etc.. cheaper.
when buying have a look at the sills and petrol tank for dings. most likely caused by offroading in it.
then of course KMs and rust.
i just lifted my leafy with suspension lift (804 bucks for leaves, shocks, bushes) then added my extended shackles cost 150 off a dude on nbs forum.

need more info pm me or reply on here :D cheers bud and welcome to zook happiness haha
