GQ FACTORY LOCKER

Post by jessie928 »

Gidday,

Couple of q's to save me reinventing the wheel. Has anyone fitted different ratio's to a factory locking ( vacume) hemisphere. ie 4.6's

also, i am thinking of converting the vacume acuating unit to a more reliable setup, using a lever and cable or air.

Anyone have any rexperience with these?( the lockers in general and the mods)

i havent actually done it yet because ive only just ordered my 4.6s but sandy bowman from aus4wd tells me the ring and pinion bolts in with no problem at all with the factory locker. Also their is a mob in ringwood cant remember there name but they sell a diffferent vacum solenoid system to run the factory locker and it makes the locker go on and off straight away instead of having to wait for it to engage. Any other questions just ask, and ill try and find the name and number of the guys i bought the solenoids off in ringwood
