If it is a genuine high pressue hose that price sounds right. Take the hose into pirtec or enzed and get a price off them to make one up.

i had my high pressure line go on my gq it cost $65 to have it removed a new one made and refitted and fluid replaced. all done in my driveway about 2 hours after i rang up. to remove it myself would have cost only $50 but it was lucky i got the hose mob to do it because the bolt with the hole in it that holds the line to the top of the pump sheered when they tried to tighten it back up, so they had to root around getting it out and putting a new one in. that was from mobile auto hoses, enzed are about $10 more.
