steering rod - interchangable??

Hi Guys

I smashed my truck the other day :cry:

It's not gonna be too hard to fix, but I do have a prob...

I bent the steering rod which runs from one side of the car to the other. One of my local wreckers can sel me one from an NF for $45 but unsure if it will fit my NG.

Does anyone know??
