Hi Lordy
did the lowering of the roll centre effect Swartzy's handling at all.
You are raising the front one at the same time by raising the T/Bars

love the before and after shots of dirty/clean cars. Amazing diff. Polish or just a wash? Tyre shine always gives the finishing touch IMO

Just a wash this time... Probably due for a polish soon, but the paint is like glass and very smooth...

Underneath took 6 cans of degreaser to clean up, and a can of RP7 to make all shiny, including bar work, antenna & wheel wells... Tyres get a coat of lanotec lanolin to keep nice and black...

Just went up to Swansea for a couple of days. Thought I'd mix it up with the Big Rigs at the service centre on the F3.
(There was another matching truck on the other side of my Paj, but it moved by the time I got back and took a photo :x )

Whoa good spotting with the mudflaps. The stock flaps lasted until I got bogged on the beach the first time .
Body lift is in there. I keep meaning to lift the bar but then get distracted. Definitely do it soon tho. The gap is annoying me.

new Pajero model launched

Post by hongkonger »

If you havent seen them already here is a link to the photos of the new model Pajero launched on 4 Oct 2007 in Japan.

Will not post them here because they are huge files.

The backgound includes posters of pajero's from across the globe, mine has the red arrow.

Nice action shots Dean, all the mighty Paj needs now is a 40mm body lift and a set of rock sliders (making mine at the moment, will post some photos) to get over those gnarly cresses without sill damage! Again, NICE.

I finally have some action shots, the dented sill was caused by the pic with the most wheel lift. The wheel went up and the sill hit the dirt. Good fun lol

Sorry i'm new to all this. (posted this in the main forum.......sorry)

Hey,

This is my 2001 asthmatic 2.8 N/A diesel. Shots were taken after a 40mm tough dog suspension lift using their 9 stage adjustables (photo taken on stage 5, so 4 more softer settings to go!!!). Best money I have spent on the ute so far getting the suspension re-done. Its on 31's coopers st's.
It has a few other mods, but also a few more to go!!

Hey Bish, Looks great! Are those tyres 33 x 12.5r x 15's or 285/75x16's?? I have a triton and have been looking at going to 33's but, alloy 15 inch rims foul with the calipers. The challenger came standard with 16's didn't it?? How did the power suffer after the tyre change?

When i find a photo of mine i will post it. Hopefully soon.

My Challenger (99) came with 15x7 alloy rims - onward from 2000 they had 16's.

Its running 15x8 steel rims with BFG Mud Terrain 33x12.5. With the body lift and suspension lift combined there is no rubbing even under full articulation.

Didn't notice any powerloss really to be honest (the v6 has plenty) but the speedo was put out by about 10% (got a GPS anyway). Rear locker and some reduction gears next on the list :D

Cheers,
Jon

bish, the challenger looks awesome. Looks very nice with the lift and 33"s. I like it a lot, similiar to a paj but also a bit different, its good to see, dont see many decent challengers, dont see enough decent paj's either i rekon.

anyways guys, ill leave you with a pic of the mighty paj, whilst the three of us, paj, my girlfriend and i, are off down the coast tommorrow for a week. Will be good to get away from work for a bit, its a bit of a birthday for my girlfriend, anniversary and chrsitmas present all together. Im finished uni forever, i deserve to have a good time. Were off down to Broulee, Near Batemans Bay for a week, so should be good, dunno how much 4wd well get done, but the recovery gear is packed :D wouldnt mind some beach driving, so yeh ill be outta here for a week, hopefully stay away from the bushfires and all that, just got a few small light items to go in the rack and were off tommorrow, til next week, SEE YA LATER

my new rig... bought less than 1 hour ago for $6,700 aussie bucks [£2,700]. I'm spanking brand new to Mitsubishi's as i've been very prejudiced against them in the past as a brand in general.... so I'm hoping to eat very humble pie and enjoy it now i've made the plunge. Afterall... you shouldn't knock what you don't know... right? I hope so anyway otherwise i'll get it in the neck from my Misses! Photos [hopefully] below. It's a stock 1996 2.8td manual GLX Shogun - UK spec.

Just wish I could get those damn speed stripes off the side.

On my last vehicle i took the stripes off with a hair dryer. If they're vinyl graphics this is all you need. A bit of gentle heat and a finger nail to get it to lift and... job's a good'n!
