arb locker problem

my front locker won't start but when i connected it straight to the battery it ran ,my question is why wont it work of the switch because when u turn the compressor switch and the locker switch the light are on but no action (or traction) any idea would be great. cheers

have checked to see if the switch is working? use a test light to see if power is coming back out of the switch. if none replace switch, if there is follow the wire to the relay, then relay to soeloid.

i forgot silly question have you checked the fuse?

Have you an ARB rear ? if not and you wired the front to the ARB manual
it won't opperate till the rear is switched on. Change the switch wiring to suit a rear diff.

mate no rear just a front and has been working before just can't figure it out . thanks

Sounds simple,

1. Fuse
2. Relay
3. switch
4. wire come off ign feed

fuse holder was corroded to buggery. all fixed now thanks all
