how do ya tell if ya leafs are to far gone? i want to put ext. shackles on but i hear if the leafs are knackered it wont do anything, so .......

the fact that its sitting lower than normal ??

you can get them reworked but if its a comman problem, like we have had with our navarra's, then adding or replaceing the main leaf is the first thing to do.

There are a couple of cheapy ways around your problem, particularly on smaller trucks.

Having sagged out springs can be a benefit...sure you will have lost ride height...but you gain flex. Throw in extended shackles and you will gain a little in ride height but still have the flexy leaf pack.

stuff puttin new ones in yet, get ext shackels or drop shackels and ya get mad flex!!!!! i rate f*ked springs :twisted:

its a 62 cruzer, the back looks like its droped a little but im no expert....
shackles...whats the diff with extented and drop?

Go the drop shackles they work sic 5x the price but 100x the flex

Extended shackles are just normal shackles but have a greater distance between the 2 pins.

Drop shackles are the things superior engineering and climax make.
