Updated pics of Dino!

Post by DiscoDino »

Despite the war and all, my mechanic in Lebanon continued to work on my truck and here's a sneak peek (brother took the pics...)

Need still to tidy up the wiring and interior, hook up the ARBs and we're good to go (testing should happen in end Sept)

We're going to add one diagonal across the back for side flops...but I think that should be it...

What's your take people?

Cheers...Nadim

Mata, intially when you started carving this thing up, I thought that you'd made a major mistake and would probably end up trashing the lot. Well done for completing it and it looks just simply awsome! I like it a lot!!!

Looks great, but don't take it outdoors at the moment, it'll probably be very useful getting 'round, but definitely a target of opportunity.......

Did you extend the wheelbase at all to compensate for the big tyres? Looks like it is still the standard disco length. I would have looked at taking it out to Defender length for those sized tyres.

Looks horn, though

Wheelbase is ~ 102", however, I'm waiting to get the 18" coilovers, the 49" IROKs and the Unimog axles (U1300 discs) to get the wheelbase to 120"...

Thanks for the props on the "looks" :)

Yeah, it goes down at the same angle the front end does...reason being is that otherwise, it'd have been weirdly high...
