2.8TD snorkel?

G'day all
i got quoted $873 for a snorkel, fitted to a '97 GQ by arb. this seems a bit high. just wondering why its so high? or should i expect one cheaper from else were?

As this guy sells them for $300 on ebay

wtf!! i wouldnt pay more than $400.
i got mine for around $300 from memory.
surely the 2.8 cant be that much different.

That was fitted??
That model has to have a new aircleaner body as well from memory.

yeah that was fitted. there charging $689 for the snorkle and $184 for fitting. i think they said sumthing bout new air cleaner body but still i dint think it would b that high.

from memory the snorkel should RRP for $500. We do the airflow ones like on the ebay listing, they are not a bad snorkel but not finished like a safari, but they also have snorkels for models safari dont
