give the starter motor a "tap" and see if it starts.
AFAIK the click means the relay is working and most likely the bushes in the starter motor are sticky and not making good contact. sometimes a tap loosens them up.
When i first bought my feroza i had to tap it when the motor was hot to restart (for a few days)but that was 1.5years ago and it seems to work fine now.

cheers for the quick responses guys!
ok, what do i tap it with? a metal bar? hand? dont want to hit it hard enough to put in a dent or break it. lol!
also, found that my pos cable came apart... again! arugh, how do i fix this so it stops coming apart?! its been sitting there so it doesnt make sense as to why it would do that. im temped to just solder the joints and be done with it.... good idea or no?

You can hit them fairly hard from what I've seen!
If the solenoid gets stuck it won't move far enough to make the electrical contacts that kick the starter motor over. You could try pulling the whole lot out and giving it a good clean out. It's probably just clogged up with old grease, dirt etc.

cheers guys. you are all brilliant!
gave the starter a few really hard wacks (broke the head off the handle ), put a battery assist start on it, and volia, she cranked over. so i put in some starter fluid, and she roared to life once again.
