NO luck with rear bar - it's a part of the chassis and the outers are plastic - you can lift them, but don't expect them to last long!
Had a chassis chop n lift on the front end, but thats all for the better(standard bars!)

Yes. Cut, n gussetted with plate - currently has the PTO attached on a tuff stuff bar. Neat job, tough as! Means I can run standard bars on it and improve clearance by 50mm.jimbo jones wrote:80diesel4play wrote: Had a chassis chop n lift on the front end, but thats all for the better(standard bars!)
Is that for your bull bar?

The rear bar that the chrome step attached to is welded to the chassis. I cut off that rear bar and then made another that bolted to the chases via flat plates that had 2 sets of holes drilled in the 2inches apart so that it could be re-fit to standard if needed.
If you look close at your chassis rails at the rear you will see that bolt holes are already in there from the factory, just use those as your guide. Then you can bolt your bumperettes to the new rear bar.
